AVANTIBai Lodhi contributed in freedom of country by fighting with Britishers and one who sacrifice life for country are not from any particular community or religion. Rather, they are respected in society, asserts Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during a programme organised to mark Martyrdom Day of Avantibai Lodhi at Jogi Dalli village. Chief Minister also unveiled statue of Avantibai Lodhi. CM stated a large section of Lodhi community is present in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
 
The community people are mainly associated with farming and it is proud that they know well how to take maximum agriculture produce with minimum using water. Narwa, Besides, Narva, Garva, Ghurva and Badi yojana has already been implemented in rural pockets. CM announced construction of community building, new Panchayat building and road construction besides beautification of Sheetla pond. He also declared financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for Sarv Samaj and Rs 15 lakh for construction of community building in Lal Bahadur Nagar.
 
It was also stated that Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools are being opened in all blocks of state for bright future of students. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahariya said Chief Minister had worked for progressing local culture and government was working for welfare of farmers, SC, ST and other castes. Dongargarh MLA Bhuneshwar Baghel shared views. Lodhi Samaj President Kamleshwar Verma delivered welcome speech and said people are being benefitted with welfare schemes of government. Chhattisgarh Antvyasayi Sahkari Vitta and Vikas Nigam President Dhanesh Patila, Rajgami Sampada Nyas President Vivek Wasnik, Collector Topeshwar Verma, SP D Shravan and SDM Mukesh Rawte were present.
