Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured beneficiaries of Central and State governments schemes during a programme held in Barwani on Wednesday He asserted that every grain of farmers produce will be purchased on support price. Concrete house will be built for every poor in next three years. Water will be sent till every home through tap connection under Gram Jal Mission in State. Meanwhile, he also sought information from women of self-help groups (SHGs) whether school uniforms were being purchased from them or from a contractor. The women said that they are stitching and distributing the uniforms.

 

He also expressed happiness that loans will be provided at 2 per cent interest to push the women’s group ahead. He said that street vendors’ scheme has proved to be very effective for small businessmen. This plan will be continued even further. He said that 90 per cent corona infection can be prevented by wearing masks. Therefore, everyone must use the mask inevitably and correctly. Meanwhile, he intercepted some people and made them wear masks properly. He solicited public participation to prevent corona infection and also advised citizens to be alert. He added that battle against corona is underway under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

In first phase, front-line workers and in second phase people over 60 years of age have been vaccinated. Immunisation of people above 45 years of age is being started from April 1. Therefore, all eligible people must get vaccinated compulsorily. On this occasion, MP and BJP State President V D Sharma honoured beneficiaries of Mukhya Mantri Kalyani Pension, Multi-Disability Pension, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi, Rashtriya Shahri Aajivika Mission, Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar, Pradhan Mantri Awas Disabled Pension, Farmers Welfare Fund and Uniform Distribution Scheme in the programme.
