Shop-owner, son held for stabbing customer

Panic spread in Gulaua Chowk area when the owners of Atul Plywood and Hardware Shop stabbed a customer to death with a knife. As per information received, shop owner Upendra Chaturvedi and his son Anurag stabbed Vishnu Vishwakarma, a resident of ITI Madhotal on Wednesday afternoon. Vishnu had reached Atul Plywood to buy some material. There was a dispute over the price during the purchase.
 
Getting infuriated during the dispute, shop owner Upendra and his son Anurag Chaturvedi started abusing Vishnu. When he objected to the abuse, Upendra held Vishnu’s hands and his son Anurag stabbed him in the stomach with a knife. People standing nearby, immediately informed the police. Within a few minutes senior police officials CSP Kotwali, Deepak Mishra, SHO Madan Mahal Police Station, Neeraj Verma, SHO Sanjeevani Nagar Police Station Bhumeshwari and other reached the spot and rushed Vishnu, who was profusely bleeding, to the medical hospital in a critical condition where he was declared dead. Police have arrested both father and son and registered case under relevant sections.
