NUPETA’s online 2-day seminar on sports begins today

A TWO-DAY online seminar on ‘International Multidisciplinary Conference on Contemporary Approaches & Application in Physical Education & Sports’ will begin at 11 am on Friday. Nagpur University Physical Education Teachers Association (NUPETA) will be organising the event with support from the following colleges — Dr Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi; Annasaheb Gundewar College, RS Mundle Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College, Renuka College, Besa; Jyotiba College of Physical Education, Taywade College, Koradi and Arvindbabu Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya, Bharsingi. Dr Nupur Tewari, International Coach and Motivational Speaker, Tokyo, Japan will deliver the keynote address on opening day. Colonel Arvind Jha, MSc and PhD in Sports Psychology from USA will be part of the first technical session.
 
The inauguration on Zoom platform will be done at the hands of Dr Subhash Choudhary, vice-chancellor, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Chief guest on the occasion will be Vijay Munishwar, who has won Arjuna and Dronacharya Awards while Dr Vijay Dhote, President, NUPETA and Principal, AD College, Bharsingi, will preside over. Dr Mrs BA Mehere, Dr Gajanan Patil, Dr Tanuja Nafde and Dr Jyoti Patil will be the guests of honour. On the second and concluding day of the event, Dr Prof Jayashri Acharya, Head of Department of Psychology, Director, IQAC, LNIPE, Gwalior and Dr Barid Bhattacharya, Psychiatrist, Australia, UK and India will be the speakers.
 
Dr Sharyu Taywade will be chief guest of the valedictory function. Dr MV Singh will preside over while Dr Vijay Datarkar will be the guest of honour. Dr Arvind Joshi, Organising Secretary, Dr Pramod Katkar, Dr Bablu Shrigiriwar, Dr Sanjay Choudhary, Dr Amit Tembhurne, Dr Devendra Wankhade, Dr Pravin Kumar, Dr Vishakha Joshi, Dr Sunil Bhotmange, Dr Surendra Tiwari, Dr Ashwin Chandel, Dr Pravin Patil and Dr Shyam Charde are working hard to make the event a huge success.
