WCR cracks down on passengers violating COVID-19 protocol

The Western Central Railway (WCR), on Friday, conducted special drive at railway platforms and took action against the passengers who were not following covid-19 guidelines. Railway officials also realised fine from the erring commuters.
It may be noted that ‘The Hitavada’, in its Friday edition, drew the attention of Railway authorities towards open violation of corona guidelines on the railway platforms. Springing into action after the report, the WCR officials conducted drive and took fine from a number of the erring passengers.
Senior officials informed the that Station Director caught 60 people and realised a fine of Rs 100 each from the violators.
Similarly, the women staff at Madan Mahal Station apprised passengers about the importance of wearing a mask. Station Manager Shweta Uikey and Station Manager Commercial Arti Yadav conducted the drive. Station Director Shivdutt Sharma, Station Manager Commercial Ranjit Kaithwas and Sub-Station Manager Amit Chansoria were present on the occasion.
