Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that corona cases are increasing in the State but there is no need to panic. There is adequate availability of free testing, treatment and beds in all districts. In Government hospitals, private hospitals and hospitals identified under Ayushman Yojana, free corona treatment is being provided. For private hospitals, limit of fees has been fixed, they will not be able to charge more than that. He said that vaccination is an effective way to prevent corona. Right now vaccine is being given to those above 60 years of age and those above 45 who have co-morbidity. From April 1, those above 45 years will also be vaccinated.
 
People must get vaccinated as per schedule. So far, corona vaccine has been administered to 31 lakh people in the State. He was reviewing situation and arrangements of corona in Mantralaya on Saturday. 5,961 general and 8,184 oxygen beds There are 5,961 general and 8,184 oxygen beds available for treatment of corona in hospitals of the State. At present, 18 per cent (1092) common beds and 29 per cent (2369) oxygen beds are occupied. 82 per cent of normal beds and 71 per cent of oxygen beds are empty.
 
Follow traditions while avoiding crowding Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that to curb corona infection it is necessary that everyone should celebrate Holi at home with their families. Perform traditions and rituals without crowding, but obtain necessary approval from local administration for this. Penalty and open jail for not wearing masks During district-wise review of corona in the meeting, it was told that fine and open prison action is being taken for not wearing masks and not adhering to social distance norm.
