Gun for Glory, Jabalpur’s upcoming shooter, Aarna Rajput has bagged a silver and two bronze medals while a total of nine shooters have qualified for the National Shooting Competition in recently held 8th West Zone Shooting Competition in Mumbai. Aarna Rajput clinched a silver medal in 10-metre Air Pistol Sub Women Youth category and two bronze medals in Youth Women and Junior Women categories and qualified for National Competition. 12-year-old Aarna is student of Class-8th at Mount Litera Zee School and daughter of Dr. Preeti Rajput and Ashish Rajput.

 

Besides this, total nine players have secured berth for National Competition include Aarna Rajput, Durganshi Baghel, Aanchal Singh, Harnoor Kaur Tuteja in 10-metre Air Pistol Sub Youth Women category, Saumya Sahu and Khushi Soni in 10-metre Air Pistol Youth Women, Trusha Sur in 10-metre Air Pistol Junior Women while Ankit Raj Chandrol and Aaryan Tiwari qualified in 10-metre Air Pistol MQA Men category. There is an opportunity for selected players to qualify for Indian team trials to ensure their participation in international competitions. These players are being trained under the guidance of International repute Coach, Nishant Nathwani, Assistant Coaches, Anuj Ratanprabha and Shakti Chakrawarty.
