No mask, no liquor: CMMCL

Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited (CMMCL) Raipur, State Government undertaking, which is responsible for the retail sale of both Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Country-made Liquor (CML) in State,
has issued guidelines for strict compliance in all IMFL/CML outlets across State.
 
For compliance of these guidelines, the CMMCL is releasing Rs 10,000 per outlet and has directed all outlet in-charges to ensure strict compliance of these guidelines through their supervisors and salesmen.
 
As per the guidelines issued, it has been stated that no liquor will be sold to any person who visits the outlet without a mask. In charge, supervisors, salesmen and guards of each and every outlet should wear masks and also keep additional masks. Liquor will be sold to only those persons who are wearing masks.
 
Barricading and circle markings have been done in front of the counters of every IMFL/CML for ensuring social distancing and it should be ensured that crowding situation doesn’t arise during peak sale hours. In case of a crowding situation, all security guards should ensure social distancing and control the crowds accordingly.
 
As per the directive issued by CMMCL, it has been stated that sufficient sanitisers should be stocked in every liquor outlet so that consumers can be sanitised through security guards and staff members. Also sufficient sanitisation should be carried out after opening and before closing every liquor outlet. In-between also sanitisation processes should be continued as and when felt necessary.
 
CMMCL has directed to keep the liquor outlet premises and surroundings neat and clean.
 
In case any customer is found suffering from cough and cold, such customers should be immediately removed from the queue by the security guards. Monitoring teams should be constituted at the district level to monitor compliance of these guidelines in every shop at least five times a day and thereafter submit reports accordingly. A daily cumulative district report should be submitted to the CMMCL HQs every day.
