The State Government is not intended to impose complete lockdown in the State, hence public need to impose self-corona curfew and avoid stepping out of home except in case of emergency, hoped Dr Arvind Singh Bhadoria, Cooperative and Public Services Management Minister, Madhya Pradesh Government. Cooperative Minister Dr Bhadoria has received charge of Jabalpur and Chhindwara district for COVID management on Monday only. After having 2-hour discussion with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan through video-conferencing, Dr Bhadoria interacted with the media on Tuesday. He said that the administration has all required amenities in adequate quantity to manage ment to COVID patients’ the situation and denied any oxygen shortage affecting COVID treatment in Jabalpur district. “Neither the district presently faces any dearth of oxygen nor it will allow any shortage to affect treatment in future also,” he said.

“Sufficient number of beds are available right now, but to get equipped to face even worse situation in future, the administration continuously discusses with private hospitals for arranging maximum oxygen-supported beds. Around 350 more oxygen-supported beds will be available in Sukh Sagar Medical College within a few days,” he added. Right now 65 per cent patients are in home isolation who are provided with required medical consultancy and medicines through telemedicine service. Around 10,000 Remdesivir injections will be available in the district in three days. More than 3.45 lakh beneficiaries are vaccinated in the district, but still people need to adopt self-disciplined attitude. He also urged those who have given samples for COVID testing and still are waiting for results, not to come out of their homes and put others’ life at risk. They must keep themselves self-quarantined at home.
