3,106 people vaccinated in all 85 wards of city: BMC

On Tuesday, around 3,106 people were vaccinated in different wards in city. Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner KVS Chaudhary reviewed the arrangement in wards and ensured that COVID -19 compliance is being followed by the employees and hospital personnels deployed in wards. The vaccination centres have been started in all 85 wards in the city in 19 zones. Other facilities like sitting arrangements, water supply and other basic amenities in these centres are also being monitored on daily basis by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation team. In Bhopal, vaccination centres have been set up in all the 85 municipal wards and Sanjeevani clinics. Main objective is to speed up vaccination in the State covering more of people under 45 years of age.

During total lockdown for vaccination people are being allowed to commute and take vaccination in respective wards. List of wards and centres have been identified by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC). Before lockdown volunteers were also visiting different areas informing public about vaccination centers and dates of vaccination drive. Directions have been issued by Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary to ensure take 600 vaccinations at each centre and strict actions against violators who do not use masks and take strict action against those who do not keep physical distance.
 
Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania said that circles should be made in front of shops, while rope should also be made. So that the law of physical distance is followed. There will be vaccination at 85 centers. In addition, vaccination is being done in Sanjeevani clinics and other hospitals. Vaccination is being done from 9 am to 5 pm in the vaccination centres.
