Guru Govindsingh Stadium in North Nagpur to be developed by NMC

NAGPUR Municipal Corporation (NMC) has announced to develop six grounds at six MLA constituencies of the city. In that regard, NMC Sports Committee Chairman Pramod Tabhane inspected Guru Govindsingh Stadium in North Nagpur the other day. Nagpur Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, in a recent visit to the stadium, had asked the officials to level the ground and make it playable with all basic facilities.

 NMC Sports Committee Chairman Pramod Tabhane (3L) and others visited the Guru Govindsingh Stadium situated in Nagpur North constituency.
 
 
The ground belongs to Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT). Tabhane directed the authorities to complete the paper work to transfer the land to NMC which would ease them in maintaining the field. Deputy Chairman of the NMC Sports Committee Lakhan Yerawar, Aasi Nagar Zone Chairman Vandana Chandekar, Prabhag 6 Corporator Jitendra Ghodeswar, Mohammad Ibrahim, Vaishali Narnaware, Prabhag 2 Corporator Dinesh Yadav, Gurudwara Committee member Nishansingh Gotra, NMC Sports Officer Piyush Ambulkar, Pramod Gaikwad and others were present during the inspection.
