Supela Ghadi Crossing wore deserted look amid total lockdown.

All shops, grocery stores and commercial establishment remained closed. Not even street vendors selling vegetables and fruits were found on the usually busy markets and public places. A traffic cop, deployed at the Supela Ghadi Crossing has said that presence of vehicles and people were minimal and the police did not have to intervene much as people themselves were cooperative to the prohibitory order. Police personnel were deployed at many important junctions and barricades were placed on the roads, while enforcement officials from BMC authority were keeping keen vigil on markets, playgrounds and public places.

With no private transport and auto-rickshaws plying, the movement of people was, by and large, restricted. Some of the cabs, cars and taxis remained parked on roadsides and streets. Most of the shops, barring a few selling essential commodities, were seen closed in the district today. Besides, barricades were also seen stationed at different junctures on the road.
