On Saturday, sanitisation activities were carried out at Ban Ganga, Ambedkar Colony, Shabari Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Nelbad, Chunna Bhatti, Ashok Vihar, Abhiruchi Complex. Kushipura, Dashmesh Nagar, Padnambh Nagar, Bajraia Thana, Ashoka Garden thana and Rajeev Colony. Sewage cleaning tanks are being utilised for sanitisation at different areas. On regular basis spraying of disinfectant is being carried out. Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) team was seen spraying chemicals on the road-side plants and pavements as well.

 

Disinfectant spray is also been done through hand operated pumps. Ward numbers 12, 13, 14, 15 were covered. The spraying is done at early morning hours. The affective spraying is done by sewage tank cleaners since it is covering large areas. Additional 19 sewage tankers have e been put to this purpose along with 60 sprinklers.

 

The sanitisation work of old city is also being carried out to reach to narrow roads and efforts is being done to reach out to areas in old city. Massive sanitisation activities have been carried out in many areas in city two times in morning and evening with Raskhak spray in containment areas including Chandbad, Char Imli, Trilanga, Fortune Pride Colony, Indira Nagar TT Nagar 1250 hospital, Tulsi Nagar, Kanha Tower Janaki Nagar, Chuna Bhatti etc. Amidst scorching heat sanitisation was carried out in main roads in early morning hours. The bus stops are also cleaned and also areas near railway stations. Considering rise in corona cases sanitisation activities have been restarted like last year by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC).
