Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh got the first dose of corona vaccine at the District Hospital during the third phase of vaccination started, on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion he expressed gratitude to the great scientists of the country for preparing an indigenous vaccine to protect people from the global epidemic. Likewise, he has also extended thankfulness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi following whose encouragement and guidance, the vaccination work is going on at rapid pace in entire country and India is also providing vaccine to 150 countries of the world. Singh said in the first phase, the front line worker were given vaccine while during the second phase people above 60 years of age and people with the identified disease above the age of 45 years were vaccinated and now under the third phase people over the age of 45 are getting vaccinated.
 
After getting the vaccine, Singh informed that the vaccination work has been done at 200 centres in the Parliamentary constituency, out of which 64 centers are in urban area and rest are in the rural area. He has appealed to the citizens who are above the age of 45 years to get vaccinated soon and also provide the safety cover to their family. On the occasion, Singh also donated Rs 5000 to Red Cross Society.
