In the ongoing battle against corona infection, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that all eligible poor consumers of State will get three months ration free from fair price shops. In the meantime, he said that infection should be prevented in cities and towns as well as villages of the state. Those who are safe in villages be safe and should not go out. Ensure infection control by creating a containment zone where there are more infected patients. In every situation, chain of transmission has to be broken. Resident associations and voluntary organizations should cooperate so that arrangements that are falling short are made adequate.
 
He was interacting with Collectors through video conference on Monday. He dubbed Khandwa, Burhanpur administration's efforts for infection control as commendable. He said that efforts have been made on war level to provide adequate oxygen for infected patients in state. Remdesivir injections is now regularised. Their fair distribution should be ensured so that patient's breath does not break. The Chief Minister said that complete arrangements related to isolation should be ensured in districts. Those who have a cold, cough, fever, get them checked immediately, keep themselves in isolation till report of test comes. Many people move around after giving a sample.
 
This too has to be controlled. This will save family from getting infected. If house is small then one should take advantage of arrangement by visiting Covid Care Center. He told Collectors that districts where oxygen plants have been approved, they should start work of setting up plant. Initiative of taking oxygen cylinders in some districts is commendable. Local arrangements should also be ensured by the Collector.
