“All necessary facilities should remain available at all the Fever clinics being operated in the district and it should be ensured that the Covid-19 patients receive their corona report within one day after the test,” said Divisional Commissioner on Monday. The Divisional Commissioner issued the above instructions to the Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Prabhakar Tiwari and other health officials in the district. Kiyawat has directed the Chief Medical and Health Officer to ensure data feeding of patients arriving at fever clinics.

They should also be screened, sampled and tested when needed so that the infected person can be quickly identified and given immediate medical attention. He said that it is often seen that the patients are receiving corona test report within 3 to 4 days, due to which the patient does not recognise the symptoms of corona early, which causes difficulty in treatment. He has given instructions to make proper arrangements for this so that the patients can get the corona test report soon. Kiyawat has also instructed all the sub-divisional officers (revenue) to do a surprise inspection of fever clinics and verify the duty-doctors. Instructions have also been given to take disciplinary action against doctors who do not reach hospitals on time.
