Congress MLA P C Sharma ended his twenty-one hour fast by consuming juice from the hand of a small girl in Bhopal on Tuesday. He said that State Government should hand over entire arrangements related to corona disease to the Army. Interacting with media, he also informed about the directions given by Madhya Pradesh High Court to Madhya Pradesh Government on his petition. He said one of the directives is to provide Remdesivir injection to needy within one hour. Testing should be increased to prevent spread of corona. Collector and CMHO should ensure availability of Remdesivir injection and oxygen even in private hospitals.
 
Talking on his previous demands in connection with vaccination, he told that it is on his demand that all should be vaccinated that Central Government took decision for vaccination of persons above 18 years from May 1. He said that despite in delayed manner, at least Central Government had taken decision in this regard. In the meantime, he told that if Government fails to do arrangements as per the HC order on his petition by May 10, then he will file the contempt of court petition against the Government.
 
He also demanded State Government that corona patients should be treated free in Government and private hospitals. RTPCR test should be totally free. There should be adequate arrangement of Remdesivir injection, oxygen and oxygen beds. Government should deposit amount of Rs 10,000 into the accounts of poor and helpless people.
