Akbar sanctions Rs 50 lakh for prevention of corona

All possible efforts should be made to treat Covid-19 patients stressed Forest and In-charge Minister of Kabirdham Mohammed Akbar during review meeting here on Thursday. He directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for supply of Oxygen Cylinders and essential medicines. On initiative of Forest Ministers Rs 50 lakh has been sanctioned for prevention of corona and 100 additional Oxygen cylinders have been supplied. Through virtual meeting held online from his official residence Mohammed Akbar review the arrangements made for the Covid patients in Kabirdham. He directed the District Collector to make necessary arrangements for better medical facilities and to ensure proper management.
 
Being under Home Isolation Minister took information of the district over telephone on daily basis. As a result no patients in Kabirdham is without oxygen bed and sufficient medicines are available. During review meeting he took information on availability of testing kit, Remdesivir injection, Steroids and Oxygen, etc. Those medicines are not available on district level should be arranged by higher level he informed. He also interacted with directors of private hospitals who are treating Covid patients in Kabirdham district. He gave directives to District Collector regarding supply of medicines, injections and oxygen cylinders to private hospitals also. Forest Minister Akbar gave instructions to ensure better treatment of the corona infected patients in Kabirdham district and to increase medical and human resources in the Covid care centers operated there and to make every necessary arrangement to combat the epidemic. It may be mentioned that on the initiative of Forest Minister Akbar, for the prevention of infection of Covid-19 in Kabirdham district and to help the victims, recently Rs 50 lakh has been approved.
 
This amount will be spent on ventilators, ICUs and oxygen beds in Covid hospitals located in the district. Similarly, 85 Oxygen cylinders have also been made available for easy supply of oxygen to all needy patients infected by corona. Apart from this, today 100 oxygen cylinders are being sent in addition. Collector of Kabirdham Ramesh Chandra Sharma gave detailed information about the status of infection of corona in the district and preventive measures. On this occasion, concerned departmental officers and private hospital operators and medical officers were present.
