Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that ensuring oxygen supply is top priority of State Government in the management of COVID infection. On Saturday, more than 11,000 people have recovered after winning battle against corona. The positive effect of Janata Curfew is visible and positivity rate has stabilised in State. There is a need to identify areas having higher infection rate at district-level. Strategies for infection control will have to be developed at micro level after studying areas where infection is high in cities and villages. Efforts should be made to prevent infection from spreading and eliminate it by making these areas a micro containment zones. He was addressing a virtual meeting of Corona Control Core Group from residence regarding prevention and arrangements of COVID-19. The meeting also discussed responsibilities entrusted to the ministers for monitoring and implementing the works of Covid control. All the concerned ministers, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and other officials attended the meeting virtually.
 
Rate list displayed in 492 private hospitals: Out of 497 private COVID hospitals in the state, the status and rate list of beds are being displayed in 492 hospitals. A capacity of 49,660 beds has been developed in Government and private health institutions. Work of distribution of medical kits is going on continuously. 100 ICU beds will increase in AIIMS: Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang informed that hundred ICU beds are being increased in AIIMS in Bhopal. Apart from this, 2,000 beds are being arranged with the cooperation of various organisations. Oxygen air route for Bhopal, Gwalior too Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that every possible effort is being made to supply oxygen in the State. In a discussion with the Union Minister of Railways, Piyush Goyal, it has been decided that Ministry of Railways will provide oxygen train to Bhopal for Madhya Pradesh.
 
This train will reach Bhopal from Bokaro via Ranchi. In which oxygen filled tankers will be brought to Madhya Pradesh. After the Indore-Jamnagar air route, now oxygen will be supplied to Madhya Pradesh from Gwalior, Ranchi and Bhopal-Ranchi air route. Empty oxygen cylinders from Madhya Pradesh will go to Ranchi from Bhopal and Gwalior by Air Force aircraft, and filled tankers will return from there by road. He said that the possibilities of making necessary arrangements for converting the nitrogen tankers for oxygen and bringing tankers on train should also be worked out.
 
Two high level groups of officers have been formed for the supply of oxygen and distribution in its state. He was addressing a virtual meeting of Corona Control Core Group for prevention and arrangements of COVID 19. He said that minister incharge and OIC should pay special attention to condition of people living in home isolation, system of providing medicines and advice etc. Every effort should be made that patients recover while in home isolation. In the review of the arrangements at Covid Care Centres, it was informed that 9041 isolation beds have been arranged in 155 Covid Care Centres and 618 oxygen beds in 32 centres. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the services of COVID care centers will be assessed on the basis of available medical infrastructure, treatment, cleanliness, food arrangements and the feedback of the patients. Also, study how many people have been referred to hospitals from these centres and how many became healthy.
