Aiming to help people in the fight against novel coronavirus, a district-level joint coordination committee of Gayatri Pariwar has been formed under the guidance of Chhattisgarh unit of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar. The working of the committee will be guided by the pariwar’s state unit zone convener Dilip Panigrahi. Raipur district coordinator Lachhuram Nishad informed that the disaster management unit of Gayatri Pariwar is extending help to people during this lockdown in separate districts of the state to protect them from corona infection. Recently, Gayatri Parivar of Raipur unit has launched an initiative for providing oxygen cylinders to COVID-19 patients in Raipur and its rural areas. In the meantime, the Gayatri Pariwar has launched a campaign of providing free psychological counselling to people.

Due to the extension of lockdown, the Gayatri Pariwar is taking necessary steps for ensuring food to needy people as well as stray animals.
