Indian National Congress (IYC) National Spokesman Subodh Haritwal handed over a memorandum to Minister for Health and Family Welfare T S Singhdeo at his official residence in State Capital on Friday, demanding to describe the journalists of Chhattisgarh as corona warriors and make arrangements for covid vaccination for the journalists of State. In the memorandum, Subodh Haritwal said that a request has been made that the journalists of State should be given priority in the vaccination campaign keeping the category of Corona Warrior.

 

The journalists are working at ground-levels works during the covid period. It will help to enhance the moral of the journalists to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, he added. Singhdeo has assured that a special arrangement for the covid vaccination would be made for the journalists of State.
