Congress Kisan Call Centr
Kisan Call Centre of Congress started functioning from Thursday onwards. With this, Congress has started to hear problems of farmers and trying to get them solved at Government level. Congress started this call centre on directives of former CM Kamal Nath. In the meantime, BJP has taken a dig on Congress for selecting April 1 as the date for starting Kisan Call Centre. BJP State President V D Sharma said that Congress has once again mocked farmers in the name of call centre. “ It seems Congress selected April 1 so that in the end it can say to farmers that it was just a prank,” tweeted V D Sharma.

Congress has issued a phone number 0755-424816 apart from e-mail address for farmers to lodge their complaints. It also added that farmers can also submit documents to register their complaint.

Earlier, Kisan Call Centre of Congress was inaugurated in presence of Madhya Pradesh Congress Organisation Vice President Chandra Prabhash Shekar and Prakash Jain and farmers who came from sundry parts of the State.

Chandra Prabhash Shekhar informed that Kisan Call Centre has been started on instructions of ex CM Kamal Nath. Variousproblems of farmers will be heard and immediate efforts will be made for their solution (at government level). Spokesman Durgesh Sharma and his dedicated team have been assigned the work to hear farmers problems and get them solved by putting them before the Government. On the first day, Kisan Call Centre of Congress received many problems of farmers. Rameshwar Prasad Gautam from Nagodh of Satna district lodged a complaint related to irrigation problem. Gopal Mali of Mandsaur said crops got destroyed due to excess rainfall. Shiv Singh of Morena said he had not received compensation after his crop was burnt in fire.

Home Minister Dr Mishra takes potshots at Cong for opening call centre on Apr 1
Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra took a jibe at Congress for opening Kisan Call Centre to hear problems of peasants by alleging that once again, by opening Call Centre on April 1, Congress is making farmers ‘April Fool’. He added that already Congress had duped farmers by not waiving off loan upto Rs 2 lakh despite making promises. Taking to his Twitter handle, he targeted Kamal Nath by telling that while remaining as CM for 15 months, he had not visited even a single field. “He (Kamal Nath) comes to State only for election tourism,” he stated. In the meantime, Congress Spokesman and Congress Kisan Call Centre Incharge Durgesh Sharma reacted sharply on jibes of BJP leaders, including BJP State President V D Sharma. Making a veiled attack on V D Sharma, he told that it’s not the culture of India to celebrate April Fool. However, fooling people is something done by the BJP “Even on this day (April 1 mainly observed to play pranks and fool someone) Congress will do the work to lay flowers in path of people,” said Durgesh Sharma.
