Making good use of technology, Pachpaoli Police have recovered 10 lost cellphones and returned those to their owners. The collective worth of these cellphones was Rs 1,18,590/-.
 
Pachpaoli Police had 10 cases of lost cellphones registered in 2019 and 2020. The complainants in these cases included Parmanand Kahalkar who lost MI phone, Ujjwal Dalvi Ambolekar (Motorola), Ravindra Charde (Vivo), Utkarsh Rangarkar (Redmi), Karishma Pakhle (Realme), Leshik Patil (Vivo), Rinku Barapatre (Oppo), Kallu Hazare (Samsung), Bharati Bante (Samsung), and Milind Sardar who lost Redmi handset.
 
Pachpaoli Police recovered the lost cellphones and returned those to their owners on Friday.
 
Kishor Nagrale, Senior Police Inspector; Mukund Thakre, Police Inspector (Crime); constable Vishal Sangode, Sunil Thakur, Sanjay Mishra, Roshan Fukat, Vinod Barde, Sanjay Barele, Sandeep Patil, and Rakesh Thakur were in the team that recovered the cellphones. The team worked under the guidance of Lohit Matani, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-III); and S D Thorbole, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Lakadganj).
