MP Rakesh Singh and MLA Ashok Rohani inaugurated the sub-station in person
 
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday virtually inaugurated Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited’s 220KV sub-station at Gora Bazaar, on Saturday. Chief guest State Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar took part in the virtual inauguration. MP Rakesh Singh and MLA Ashok Rohani inaugurated the sub-station in person. Chief guests started the ceremony with Kanya Pujan. Company Chief Engineer R K Khandelwal, Superintendent Engineer Ajay Srivastava, V S Pani, Executive Engineer Rajeev Agrawal, Pramod Behre, Himanshu Srivastava and Assistant Engineer H L Koshta welcomed the chief guests.
 
Speaking on the occasion, MP Rakesh Singh said, “In year 2007, former Speaker of Legislative Assembly Ishwardas Rohani had proposed the need for a sub-station. MP Singh said that construction of Gora Bazaar sub-station will ensure uninterrupted power supply. Sub-station will prove to be a milestone. MLA Ashok Rohani said that construction of Gora bazaar sub-station will fulfill former Speaker of Legislative Assembly Ishwardas Rohani’s dream. The entire Cantonment area will get uninterrupted electricity supply.
 
He thanked senior officers of Army for granting land for construction of sub-station. The sub-station contains 1 transformer of 160MVA and 63 MVA each. At present, electricity is supplied through four feeders of 33KV located at 220 KV sub-stations. Rajesh Pathak contributed in the programme. Those present on the occasion were Station commandant Brigadier Ajay Tiwari, Garrison Engineer Amit Tiwari and local public were present.
