VIDARBHA all-rounder Darshan Nalkande has started practising with Punjab Kings’, who have changed their name this season from the old Kings XI Punjab, for the 14th edition of Indian Premier League that gets under way on April nine. Nalkande is just second player from the region apart from India player Umesh Yadav, to be a part of this year’s Indian Premier League.

The young seamer was among the most successful players for Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Twenty20 meet where the team performed poorly. This is the second season for Nalkande who was retained by his franchise showing faith in his abilities. Nalkande posted some action pictures on his Instagram account on Saturday. The cash-rich popular league starts across six cities with matches being played on neutral venues for first time in India.
