Special anti-rabies vaccination drive held for dogs in city

Around 128 dogs received anti-rabies vaccination during vaccination camp held at the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry under Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University on Saturday. The camp was organized under the direction of Vice-chancellor, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Dr. SP Tiwari to ensure protection to the dogs from Rabies. Other officers who present included Dean Faculty, Dr. Ramesh Pratap Singh Baghel, Dean, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Director, Veterinary Campus, Dr. Apra Shahi, Hospital Superintndent, Dr. Ranveer Singh Jatav, Communication and Public Relation Officer, Dr. Anil Kumar Gaur, HoD, Dr. Kavita Rai, HoD, Dr. Satyanidhi Shukla and Dr. Devendra Kumar Gupta. The anti-rabies vaccines were sponsored by Director, Rewa Pharmacy, Akhilesh Gupta. The camp was a grand success with the remarkable contribution of PG students including Dr. Puja Daheriya, Dr. Shruti Bhatt, Dr. Aditya Soni, Dr. Amit Singh, Dr. Asad Khan, Dr. Puja Dabar and Dr. Anshul. The organizing committee requested all the dog owners to vaccinate their pets to protect them from life threatening Rabies disease.
