Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has succeeded in holding the examinations without any issue. It was in second consecutive year that the university conducted examinations on-line with over 99% students attended the examinations and of those 98.83% submitted their papers. The Phase II commenced on Monday and will concluded on April 14. The university prepared a proper schedule for Winter 2020 examination that began on March 25. The examination is being conducted in four phases.

 

The examinations are being conducted by the university and partly by colleges. After the passage of nine days of examinations, the university has completed 48 examinations of 272 subjects. A total of 81,194 students wrote the examinations while 3,09,926 papers submitted, it means 98.83% students submitted papers in on-line examinations. Except for the technical glitch that took place on Day 1 on March 25, the university went on holding examinations without any problem. In last 9 days, average 98.83% students submitted the papers with the attendance percentage remained 99%. This time university is holding examination through webbased technology. With Promarc’s technological support the team under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhary, Pro-VC Dr Sanjay Dudhe, Director of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Praful Sable is not leaving any stone unturned in holding examinations. University yet has not decided when to conduct examinations of Day 1 those were postponed for indefinite time. University is expected to conduct those examinations in mid-April.

 

Immediately on Day 2 There were total 12 examinations of which 15 papers were to be written. The expected students count was 20,014, of which 18,757 students logged in while 18,622 had submitted their papers. Phase II has begun to be concluded on April 14, 2021. These examinations of regular and ex-students of UG program conducted by University level and partly at College/Department level include, Semester III of Three Year Courses, Semester V of Four Year Courses, Semester VII of Five Year Courses The theory examinations under Phase III of regular and ex-students of UG Program will be held at University level and partly at College/Department level will commence on April 15 and end on April 25, 2021.

 

They include Semester I of Three Year Courses other than students admitted through centralized admission process, Semester III of Four Year Courses, Semester V of Five Year Courses. Phase four examinations will begin on April 25 and conclude on May 5, 2021. Regular and ex-students of UG Program conducted by University level and partly at College/Department level will appear in the examinations including Semester I of Four Year Courses other than students admitted through centralized admission process, Semester III of Five Year Courses, Semester I of Five Year Courses other than students admitted through centralized admission process, Semester I of one year Diploma and Degree. Theory examination of old ex-students, ex-students (failure students) of Even semesters (II, IV, VI, VIII & X) of UG and PG Program are being conducted at College/Department level those started on March 31 and will conclude on April 15, 2021.
