District Collector Deepak Singh took an important initiative to secure the archaeological materials scattered by visiting the submergence area of the Satgarh Kadhan Medium Irrigation Project. He also observed the rock formations in the hills around here and given the importance of rock paintings here, and instructed to construct a raw access road to the rock paintings so that tourists and researchers can reach these sites easily. It is noteworthy that Collector Deepak Singh had given instructions to conduct an archaeological survey of the Satgarh Kadhan submerged area in the past. After getting a survey report of this, he himself went and inspected the place.
 
Instructed the SDO of PWD and the senior guide of the museum to list the important antiquities from the point of view of arts and crafts and keep them in the Sagar District Archaeological Museum. He also instructed to arrange for extensive photography of rock paintings of the hills of Khanpur and to create a special gallery for photographs of important rock paintings.
 
Raghunath Saunar, the local guide of rock paintings, was appreciated by the collector and got a picture with him. During this visit, senior guide of District Archaeological Museum, Rakesh Mishra, Sagar Chapter of the Indian Culture Fund Trust, Dr. Rajneesh Jain, Manoj Nema from Public Relations Department, Rajendra Gate, Executive Engineer of Rural Engineering Department, S Department, Engineer Pawan Chourasia Janpad Panchayat, S K Mishra, Namdeo, SDO of the the PWD Department was present.
