Teams EMPL and RNTU won their respective matches to secure their positions in the finals of 21st All India Mayank Chaturvedi Cricket Tournament. Two semi-final matches of tournament were played at Old Campion Ground in Bhopal on Wednesday. In the first match, EMPL cricket team defeated Ryan Water by 14 runs. Batting first EMPL scored 193 runs losing 2 wickets. Arbaaz Uddin scored 83 runs while Sumit Taneja scored 73 runs in team’s score. Ankit and Raunak of Ryan Waters took 1-1 wicket respectively.

 

In response, Ryan Water team could only score 179 runs on loss of 7 wickets. Arbaaz won the Man of the Match title for his brilliant performance. Second match was played between RNTU and Mantra cricket team. Batting first Mantra got all out on 101 runs. Rahul contributed 22 runs while Mukesh Upadhyay scored 19 runs. RNTU player Rahul and Shubham Solanki clinched 2-2 wickets respectively. RNTU team chased the target in 12.1 overs and won the match by 8 wickets. Shivam Shukla won the Man of the match title for his massive knock of 53 runs.
