Strike by RTO employees across Madhya Pradesh for past two days paralysed work. Many people are returning home without their work getting done. People said that they were given online slots for license, test drive, vehicle transfer and new registration but office is closed for two days. RTO officials are demonstrating for two days after their several years demand could not be approved by the Government.

A memorandum in this regard has been submitted to the Transport Commissioner and to meet his legitimate demand at Government level. RTO employees said that target for financial year has been achieved despite adverse impact of coronavirus during year 2020 and 2021. Even after authorities ignored order of Government and the act of Transport Department and criminal cases were registered against officers and employee of the department. They said the Government has ordered that no one can be approved on public servant without an inquiry.

RTO employees said that transport authorities have not done fare work. FIR has been registered against existing transport officers Tikamgarh, Raisen and retired Deputy Transport Commissioner for demanding acts and orders of Governance. The union has opposed this strongly.
