FALSE narratives heaped on the nation by vested interests on a regular basis to create instability in the society, is the real concern that needs to be dealt with first. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi was more than right when he pointed out this reality at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foundation Day meeting of its leaders and workers. He asserted that the nation is often faced with the situation of having to deal with deliberate confusion some elements create on otherwise clear issues such as new farm legislations or the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) or Triple Talaq or abrogation of Special Status to Kashmir or even the acquisition of Rafale aircraft for the Indian Air Force (IAF). The Prime Minister, thus, has drawn the nation’s attention to a very serious problem that the present-day Indian society faces. Realistically speaking, there should be no hitch in admitting that there is no other way to deal with the situation than to keep proving the falsehood in those narratives.

For, in our current democratic society where definitions of right and wrong are blurred by vested interests, each side will have to keep highlighting its own points of view and hope for the right narrative to be heard by others. Looking at the current situation, we must also admit that a very strong, nationalist lobby is operating in our country to nullify the false narratives being imposed on the society on every possible issue. Members of this lobby belong not only to the Government but also to many other sections of right-thinking people with a high sense of moral responsibility towards the society. In Parliament, in political rallies, in election campaigns, in the streets, in media -- and on every possible platform, -- this nationalist lobby has been able to put forward the right narrative in response to the falsehood some elements often try to heap on others.

This lobby demonstrates capably the vibrancy of the living, pulsating democracy we have in our country. Despite this, defeating the false narrative has never been an easy task. For nearly a hundred years, some Leftist and pseudo-Liberal sections of our society have built a cantankerous narrative to destabilise social peace and harmony. A good part of this cantankerous narrative is engaged in trying to prove that a lot of genuine history of India is wrong. This cantankerous narrative also keeps taking the shelter of concepts such as secularism and socialism only to defame and defile nationalist idea and ideals. The effort of these vested interests is to impose on the Indian society an utter falsehood aimed at distorting the real story of India through ages. We must admit that this Left-Liberal lobby is very well-entrenched in the Indian society, with its members occupying positions of eminence in the social, economic, political and cultural order of the Indian nation.

Over time, these people have worked systematically to slap all kinds of wrong epithets on right, nationalist thought. These people, thus, have abused the freedom of expression that is constitutionally guaranteed to every Indian citizen. Even as Mr. Narendra Modi has shared his concern about the false narrative currently messing up with social harmony, it is necessary for the right-thinking people to form formidable unity among themselves to prove the falsehood of the Left-Liberal and anti-national lobbies. We must realise that these lobbies often take the help of disruptive international elements that are deeply interested in waging a soft war against the sovereign Indian nation.

Factually speaking, this is not difficult fight. For, when the nationalist people come together inspired by right thought followed by right action, then defeating the false narrative should not be a difficult task. In fact, as said earlier, the larger Indian society has already found the correct way to silence the falsehood some elements try to impose on the people. This task must be continued with missionary determination so by using democratic tools to establish the superiority of nationalist thought and action and ideas and ideals.
