CG celebrates Mother’s Day by sharing wishes, messages, memories

People in State celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing beautiful and sweet wishes, messages and quotes with their mother on Sunday. Mother’s Day celebration was low-key this time in State because of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. No mass events were held due to the Covid-19 pandemic in State on the occasion. It may be noted that mothers face all the obstacles in the world to protect their child from all the hardships of the world. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel shared a picture with his mother late Bindeshwari Baghel on his Twitter account on Sunday. Recalling his mother on the occasion of Mother’s Day, Chief Minister Baghel wrote in a tweet, “Aapka Na Hona, Apke Hone Ki Takat Ka Hamesha Ahsas Karata Hai Maa (Maa, your absence always realises me feel the strength of your presence)”. English teacher Alka Mehta said that mothers are one of the most beautiful creations of God. Recalling her mother, English teacher Mehta has sent beautiful message to her mother Damyanti Soni on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
 
Alka Mehta wrote in her message, “Today, I wish to tell you that your upbringing has made me the kind of person I am today. All the qualities, be it the unconditional love, dedication, simplicity, empathy, kindness and compassion I have, I owe them to you. I owe you for numerous things, be it management of time, resources, money and relations.” “You (mother) satisfied all our needs with your limited resources and turned us into satisfied beings. You are a fighter and have given us the legacy of never giving up, no matter what.
 
I wish we can inculcate the same lessons of life in our children. Lots of love. Stay healthy and happy,” she added. People in large number recalled their mother and shared their messages on Twitter, facebook and other social media platforms on the occasion of Mother’s Day. It may be mentioned that in honour of all the mothers in the world, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year.
