 A COVID Assistance Centre outside All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhopal.

On the instructions of District Collector Avinash Lavania, Covid Assistance Centres have been set-up outside 6 hospitals in the State capital for the convenience of Covid-19 infected patients and their families. These help centres will help the citizens to avail the necessary information set-up outside six big hospitals in the city. The district administration and Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited started assistance centres for patients and their families affected by COVID-19 from Monday.
 
These help centres will be operated with the help of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad. Through these centres, all possible help will be provided to the patients and their families. It also includes information on the availability of ICU beds, ventilator beds, and normal beds at these hospitals. Apart from this, information about food, and treatment under Ayushman scheme, treatment information under various government schemes are included. CEO of Bhopal Smart City, Aditya Singh said that these support centres have been opened near AIIMS, RKDF Hospital, Chirayu Hospital, People’s Hospital, JK Hospital Kolar and near TB Hospital.
 
“Presently, only six aid centres have been opened but the number of these centres will be increased soon,” Singh added. Patients and their families will get all possible assistance at these centres. Two to four personnel will be deployed at these assistance centres as per need. They have been provided with masks, sanitisers, hand gloves. On the first day, about 250 patients and their families contacted these assistance centres to seek various information.
