DISTRICT administration is making every possible effort to create public awareness towards Covid-19. Anganwadi workers and mitnains of Makardona village under Nagari block are working together for creating awareness through wall writing. Women and Child Development Project Officer Tarkeshwari Sao said that she is herself doing wall writing to develop positive thinking among villagers towards immunization.

 

Through wall writing, it becomes easier to make people understand in simple terms about pandemic and precautionary steps to be taken. Apart from this, anganwadi workers and mitanins are visiting door to door for advising villagers for wearing masks, washing hands repeatedly with soap and maintaining social distance. Sarpanch, panch and elderly persons of village are contributing to this work. Anganwadi workers Mamata Netam from Makardona village and Chandrika Netam from Schoolpara said that wall writing for creating awareness has yielded positive results as villagers are now much aware about the pandemic and coming forward for vaccination. Covid-19 guidelines issued by the government are also being followed.
