Parshuram Jayanti celebra
Parshuram Jayanti was celebrated by devotees in low key affair in State capital on Friday. During any normal time, devotees used to organise grand celebration to celebrate Parshuram’s birth anniversary but owing to corona pandemic and ongoing Corona Curfew, there was no grand celebration. Only a few devotees reached temples and celebrated the occasion by following corona protocol. Many devotees performed special pooja at their home itself. Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Samaj, Madhya Pradesh, performed yagna at Siddeshwar Hanuman temple. Through the medium of yagna, a prayer was made that corona pandemic should end in India and across the world, people should live a happy life, should progress and there should be social harmony in society.

On this occasion, former minister and Congress MLA P C Sharma, Pushpendra Mishra were present. Most of the temples were vacant or very less people turned up to do worship on Parshuram Jayanti due to corona curfew. Most of the devotees performed yagna and other rituals at their home itself and desisted from gathering.
