Schools, colleges and coaching institutes will remain closed. Hostels will open for students appearing for exams approved by the State Government n No relaxation for super market/super bazaar, Sabji Bazaar, Mall, showrooms, marriage halls, swimming pools, club, cinema hall, saloon, beauty parlour, spa and gym n Shops in market areas are allowed to open under odd-even formula 
 
There is no relaxation for super market/super bazaar, Sabji Bazaar, Mall, showrooms, marriage halls, swimming pools, club, cinema hall, saloon, beauty parlour, spa, gym and other public places in entire Raipur till 6 am on May 31 as district administration has extended the period of lockdown till May 31. District Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan on Saturday said that the entire district will be a containment zone till 6 am, May 31. Liquor lovers can place their order online as shops will remain closed during this period.
 
According to the Collector, the lockdown imposed in the district since April 9 has yielded positive results as far as decline in the number of cases is concerned. The lockdown was extended twice in between, he said adding, it was necessary to further extend the lockdown from May 17 to May 31 to avoid pubic gathering and reduce the possibility of another spike in the cases. All the offices in Raipur district, except for special order, are prohibited for common public. Offices can open with 50 per cent staff on rotation basis. All the offices dealing with essential services will open. Sub-registrar office will open with required staff. Schools and colleges will remain closed for students. However, hostels will open for students appearing for examination.
 
Except examinations approved by the state government, coaching classes and other educational institutions will remain closed. pan-cigarette kiosks, fast food stalls etc. will remain closed. Fruit and vegetable wholesale markets will remain opened from 12 midnight to 6 am while hostels and restaurants can use online platform to deliver food to the customers from 6 am to 9 pm. All types of procession, dharna, social gathering, religious and tourist spots, political meetings are prohibited during the lockdown period. Covid-19 protocols should be strictly followed in marriage functions and in case of funerals. Lok Seva Kendra will open till 5 pm, however physical distancing and other covid protocols must be followed here.
 
The ID of the centre will be suspended in case of any laxity is found here. All single shops, including grocery and non-veg shops will remain opened till 5 pm. The shopkeepers should ensure covid protocols are followed or else shop can be sealed for 30 days. Except vehicle showrooms, repairing shops, stationery stores, laundry services, flour mills, packaging materials and related units will remained open till 5 pm. Shops in the markets will open on odd/even formula on the working days only. As per trade organisations, only 50 per cent shops will open in markets with strict compliance of protocols. Hardware stores, plumbing services, electrical, AC/cooler services and other such stores will open till 5 pm. Home delivery through e-commerce platform can be done by 5 pm, Wholesale grocery shops/grain markets and potato,onion trader can open till 5 pm.
 
All hospitals, medical stores, clinics and veterinary hospitals will remain open. Milk parlour, distribution can be done between 6 am and 11 am followed by 5 pm and 7.30 pm. Industry houses have been asked to ensure their staff and workers stay on their campus. Works related to PWD, water resources, forest, PHE, panchayat and rural development, RES and MNREGA will continue. However, onsite permission is given for the same. Safety of labourers should be utmost priority, said the District Collector. Government fair price shops must ensure covid protocols are followed. Total lockdown will be imposed on every Sunday. However, hospitals medical stores, fair price shops, petrol pumps, LPG, newspaper distribution, milk, fruits, vegetable and other essential services are exempted from Sunday lockdown. All shops should keep masks for sale or free distribution. Night lockdown from 5 pm to 6 am will be in place. Except emergency services, all other services are prohibited during this period. Passengers travelling to and from bus stand, airport, railway station need not get e-pass as their travel tickets will be considered as their e-pass. Four-wheelers can carry four passengers including driver in emergency situation while auto-rickshaw can carry three including driver and two persons are allowed in two-wheelers. In case of violation of this order, vehicles can be seized for a period of 15 days.
