“Nothing is permanent in this universe. Even universe is not permanent. Therefore, you have to accept the things as they are. Each person is living in a confused state of mind. He is searching pleasure, peace and happiness in the outer world. But he never understands the nature of inner world. Establishing a balance between outer world and inner world is the foundation of meditation. A person who is successful in establishing oneness between outer and inner universe reaches immortality or deathlessness,” said Suddhadhammma alias Dr Vinod Rangari.

Dr Vinod Rangari is working as a Professor, Head and Dean at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek has announced the name of Dr Vinod Rangari for award of Doctor of Literature (Vidyavachaspati) Degree in the faculty of Bharatiya Dharma Tattvadnyan Tatha Sanskriti Sankaya for his research titled ‘Encounters with Satipatthana The 84000 Dhammakkhandha of Buddhism’. Talking to The Hitavada, Dr Rangari said, “My knowledge of Pharmaceutical Sciences helped me to check, cross check, double check on the various aspects of dhamma. The revelations of ‘The 84,000 Dhammakkhandha of Buddhism’ would bring mankind closer to the experiences of exaltation in their inner universe over the miserable materialistic scientific and technological overgrowth of the world.”

Dr Rangari shared some experiences of his spiritual journey. He said, “In November 1989, I was officially introduced to the practice of Vipassana meditation at Igatpuri. Ven Guruji Ariyawansgo from Thailand changed my life. I established Dhammaditya Missionary Foundation in 2006. I have conducted number of events like Magh Pooja event and presented papers in Bangkok. In September 2016, I completed 10 days Mahasatipatthana meditation. Then I practiced Satipatthana meditation at 17 different places across the country. During the practice, I realised various sections of Dhammanupassana that is sections of five Hindrances (Nirvana); five aggregates (Khandha); twelve sense bases (Ayatana); seven factors of enlightenment (Bojjhanga) and the four Nobel truths (Sac), the foundation of the 84,000 Dhammakkhandha.”

Dr Rangari elaborated on these aspects and mentioned, “During the meditation, I realised facets of Dhamma through Satipatthana and revealed Satipatthana must have a key of 84,000 dhammakkhanda. The dhammakkhanda aggregates are in combination of five nirvana, five upadan khanda, six internal and six external Ayatana, seven Bojjhanga and four saccs. All the aggregates of the legends 84,000 dhammakkhandha were cleared.” He conducted this research by analysing dhamma on his body, sensation, consciousness and mind content, again and again sometimes exercising continuous six hours meditation during the night, Dr Vinod D Rangari concluded.
