Despite all kinds of assistance from the Central Government, the ruling Congress Government has failed in carrying out proper COVID-19 inoculation drive, said Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary and Chhattisgarh State In-charge D Purandeshwari. Asserting that from day one the State Government has been raising questions on the inoculation drive, Purandeshwari said that due to this indifference, a situation of confusion has been prevailing in State over COVID-19 vaccination. She observed these views, while addressing the BJP party workers and office-bearers from Bilaspur and Surguja division during a virtual review meeting. She said that inoculation drive is a very significant weapon in fighting against COVID-19 pandemic.

While reviewing the work progress of the ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign of the BJP in State, it is the duty of BJP workers and office-bearers to remove the confusion regarding vaccination created by the Congress leaders in the minds of people. She said that apart from all these exercises we need to give a befitting reply to this failed government on every front. She called upon party workers and office-bearers to reach out to as many numbers of people as possible through the ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign and convince them to stand in support of the party by highlighting party ideology, party’s future programmes and failures of State Government. Addressing the party workers and office-bearers, BJP State Co In-charge Nitin Nabin said that this is the time the party workers and office-bearers should be active towards providing all kinds of assistance to the people in compliance of COVID-19 protocol. He said the ruling Congress government has left the people on God’s mercy during this crisis hour and it is our duty to be responsive towards them.

Addressing the meeting State President Vishnudeo Sai said with the help of each and every party worker the State BJP is working towards making the ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign a great success. He said the campaign is getting good response from the people and the party has been successful in reaching to the last person of the society. BJP Legislative Party Leader Dhramlal Kaushik said State Government has failed to control and prevent spreading of COVID-19 pandemic which has reached villages now after wreaking havoc in urban areas. Situation is such that the state government is hiding the actual infection figures and very little testing is taking place. Rajya Sabha Member Ramvichar Netam said effective steps are taken by the party through ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign towards reigning the pandemic.

Every party worker is making significant contribution in the ‘Corona Mukti Abhiyan’ also. Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh also addressed the programme. She said instead of combating against the pandemic, the ruling Congress Government is busy in fighting, while the people are suffering. Senior party leaders including Narayan Chandel, Bhupendra Savanni, Pawan Sai, Kiran Dev, Nankiram Kanwar, Arun Sao, Gomti Sai, Guharam Ajgale, Punnulal Mohle, Amar Agrawal, Krishnamurti Bandhi, Rajnish Singh, Saurabh Singh, O P Chaudhary, Nandkumar Sai, etc were present amongst others.
