Bhopal Railway administration is continuing sanitisation drives at railway stations, offices, railway colonies, parcel offices, tracks, toilets, waiting hall and other public places to keep the pandemic spread at bay. In continuation to the same on Sunday, platforms, waiting room, FoB, offices circulating areas of several stations under Bhopal division were sanitized with chemical based liquid. This sanitization drive is continued at all stations under Bhopal division for over a month. Several department of railway is making sanitisers and mask for further distribution to the staff deployed in duty of goods train and sanitisation drive.

 

Besides, railway is also distributing food packets to people who lost their daily earning due to the lock down. Railway is distributing food on charity base to help the poor families. Snacks, fruits, tea, warm water, lunch, dinner etc is being provided to the Covid patients at Bhopal railway station. While distributing the food packets, officials asked everyone to maintain social distancing and people lined up at distance of 2 meters. Beneficiaries were also asked to clean their hand with liquid soap before accepting the food packets. Soap was also provided to the people by railway.

 

 

All distribution programme was conducted under guidance of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Uday Borwanker. In the meantime, Bhopal railway has also started counselling of guards and gangmen with the help of officials and invigilators. They are also being distributed hand sanitizer, soap, mask and other kits to be safe from the pandemic. They are being counselled to stay safe and free from stress amid the panic like situation.
