Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to the people to cautiously reap the benefit of relaxations given during lockdown. He urged the people to strictly follow COVID Appropriate Behaviour like wearing masks, maintain social distancing and sanitisation. The Chief Minister asked the people to get vaccinated as and when their turn for vaccination comes and those who have been administered first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, should get the second dose as per prescribed time period.

The Chief Minister while urging the people to strictly comply with COVID Appropriate Behavior, said after passing through great hardships the second spike of COVID-19 pandemic has been controlled to a great extent and under all circumstances we need to terminate the uncertainty of the third spike. This second spike has not only incurred huge economic losses but many of us have lost our near and dear ones. With the collective efforts of one and all we have been successful in bringing down the COVID-19 positivity rate from 30 percent to 9 percent. Keeping in view the fast improvement in the COVID-19 situation in the state, some relaxation has been allowed to the people during Lockdown, so as to minimize the hardships being faced by the general public.

The Chief Minister said we have to be very cautious while using the benefits of these relaxations and we will have to strictly comply with COVID Appropriate Behavior or else we have to incur more severe losses in the future. The Chief Minister appealed to the people to get vaccinated according to their turn for protection from COVID-19 infection. Those who have administered the first dose should compulsorily get the second dose as per time.
