Under the joint aegis of Training and Placement Cell and Commerce Department of Swami Shri Swaroopanand Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, a three-day-long workshop on Entrepreneurship and Personality Development virtually was concluded on Monday. In the second day of workshop, conference was held on topic ‘Tricks Statistics for Business’. Here as keynote speaker, Niyaz Qureshi, E-cell IBTC of IIT Kanpur addressed students via online and threw lights on important points to start business. For production, five points are necessary and they are method, money, machine, men and material. He also informed that before starting business of anything, an entrepreneur should research on it properly and it needs as well as demands in the market. In the third day of workshop, participants have presented their business plan and explained its utilities to the speakers via online.
 
During presentation, speakers, faculties and other students have asked questions to participants and they have answered all of questions. Qureshi said that if participant answers all of questions confidently and then he or she would get success in their entrepreneurship. In the workshop, participants appreciated the workshop and liked the questions such as how to start business with small investment, which business is better in this phase of corona period and others. In this competition, Aviraj Mishra, BA First Year stood at first position while Yogesh Deshmukh, BBA first year secured second position. In the competition, Disha Meshram, Devika Bansal, Pranav Sahu, Athar Azim Alfiza have also performed well.
 
The keynote speaker also informed about important aspects of advertisement and how with the medium of advertisement, companies have succeeded to lure customers especially women as well as children. Dr Deepak Sharma, CEO of College stated that the main purpose of organising this workshop is to develop personality of students along with academics. Dr Hansa Shukla, Principal asserted that in the current phase of COVID, when economy is affected a lot, small industries can prove a boon to many people. Dr Ajita Sajit Coordinator and Head of Department in Commerce motivated the students in workshop while Pooja Soda, Assistant Professor of Commerce conducted the event.
