State Forest Minister, Kunwar Vijay Shah conducted a surprise inspection at School of Wildlife Forensics and Health, under the Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU), on Wednesday. He was accompanied by MLA Ashok Rohani and Chief Conservator of Forest, Jabalpur Circle. During the inspection, State Forest Minister was detailed about the activities of School of Wildlife Forensics and Health by NDVSU, Vice-chancellor, Professor Sita Prasad Tiwari. He was given information about ongoing project works and educational activities.
 
Minister visited Wildlife Autonomy and Taxidermy Museum, Wildlife Health Division, Operation Theatre, Wildlife Forensics and Diagnostic Division and other sections. Speaking on the occasion, State Forest Minister, Kunwar Vijay Shah expressed happiness over the establishment and successful operation of School of Wildlife Forensics and Health and assured for providing necessary assistance for further expansion of the centre. MLA, Ashok Rohani also appreciated the efforts of the NDVSU for desired progress of the centre for providing better veterinary services and forensic examination. On the occasion, NDVSU, Vice-chancellor, Professor SP Tiwari informed that efforts are being made for making the centre as centre of excellence in near future and Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh Government have been approached for the same. During the inspection, Dean Faculty, Dr R P S Baghel, Registrar, Dr Shrikant Joshi, Director Research Services, Dr Madhu Swami, School of Wildlife Forensics and Health, Director, Dr Shobha Javre and ither senior and junior scientists were also present.
