Rajya Sabha MP, Sampatiya Uike carried out inspection of the Covid Care Centre set-up at the GNM Training Centre, the Children’s Care Centre at the Tankha Memorial, the District Hospital and the Vaccination Centre at Katra.

 

During the inspection of the Covid Care Centre set up at the GNM Training Centre, the Rajya Sabha MP inquired about the availability of beds and facilities for patients, oxygen supply and medicines and issued necessary instructions. She instructed them to ensure the availability of posters and toys etc for children in the centre during the inspection of Covid Isolation Ward made for children at Tankha Memorial. She said that proper arrangements should be made to ensure quarantine of families of children treated in the centre.

 

MP Uike inspected the district hospital and inquired about the health of the admitted patients and the facilities provided. Shr said that instructions were given to provide benefit of sonography facility to patients and to start CT Scan machine soon. During this inspection, Uike also inspected vaccination centre. Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Srinath Singh, Civil Surgeon, Dr Shakya, Jayadatta Jha, Anurag Chourasia and Sudeep Brajpuria were present.

 

 

For treatment of corona patients in the district, Rs 1 lakh was approved for the oxygen flowmeters by MP Uike. Uike gave oxygen flowmeters to Collector Harshika Singh by visiting at her office in Collectorate. The purchased oxygen flowmeters will be distributed in the district hospital as well as health centres in Nainpur and Bamhani. Flowmeters are used with oxygen cylinders for treatment of patients. Additional Collector, Meena Masram, Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Srinath Singh, Jayadatta Jha, Anurag Chaurasia Bittu and Sudeep Brajpuria were present.
