Public Health Engineering and Gramodyog Minister Guru Rudrakumar on Sunday virtually inaugurated the vaccination drive in Kanker, Kondagaon, and Narayanpur under his charge. PHE Minister Rudrakumar said according to the wish of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, health services are being expanded in the state. The third phase of vaccination will be for people in age group 18-44 with Antyoday ration card holders. He assured that there will be no shortage of fund for Covid test, treatment and health facility expansion.
 
He urged people to play their part in the fight against Covid with utmost care. On the occasion, Vidhan Sabha Vice president Manoj Mandawi, parliamentary secretary Shishupal Sori, Kondagaon MLA Moham Markam, Handicraft Development Board Chairman cum Narayanpur MLA Chandan Kashyap, Antagarh MLA Anup Naag, Keshkal MLA Santram Netam and other public representatives also joined virtually. Minister Rudrakumar talked to Premnaagar resident Khattu Singh Thakur and Rashi Netam after they took the vaccine shots and shared their experience. The duo said there is no issue after taking the vaccines.
 
Minister extended them best wishes and asked them to encourage others for the vaccination in the society. Minister Rudrakumar also reviewed Covid control measures being taken in the districts. He analyzed the Covid facilities, Covid centre numbers, oxygen beds, Oxygen supply, medical staff availability, and vaccination status and gave necessary directions to the officers.He also congratulated Mohan Markam for achieving 95 per cent of the total vaccination target in the Kondagaon district.
