Former Minister and Congress MLA P C Sharma has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan requesting to increase discretionary fund of MLAs from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. He said that through this discretionary fund, MLAs can distribute ration to poor people, can do financial assistance, can help people in treatment etc. He demanded that discretionary fund should be increased immediately. In the meantime, he also distributed milk to people who got vaccinated. He said milk helps in increasing immunity.

He distributed milk at vaccination centres in Naveen Girls School, Tulsi Nagar, Second Stop, Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, Tulsi Nagar etc. At Naveen Girls School, people complained to him that they are standing in queue since morning for vaccination but they are unable to get the shot. He immediately spoke to administrative officers over the issue and apprised them about the problem of people and demanded that vaccination should be done on first come first serve basis. He also tried to attract attention of people towards cumbersome exercise of registration for vaccination.

He also went to Raja Bhoj School vaccination centre after coming to know that people are facing difficulty in getting vaccine. He asked officers to accelerate vaccination work and to maintain interval of 10 minute gap while distributing slip so that there should not be crowd at vaccination centre.
