Government Railway Police (GRP) Raipur on Thursday arrested two men with 22 bottles of English liquor worth Rs 14,900 and 49 pouches of country liquor worth Rs 2058. According to report, GRP Station In-charge R K Borjha along with Sub-Inspector B N Mishra, constables Mordhwaj Verma, Rajesh Misra, CIB RPF Inspector Madhubala Patra, Sub-Inspector BR Sahu, Head Constable PK Dubey, RNK Mahana and Staff Sub-Inspectro Rituja Bhalekar, Head Constable PK Gaurah, and Head Constable MS Patel conducted checking drive on platform number 2-3 of Raipur Railway Junction.

 

The team caught two men identified as Dilip Bisai and recovered 22 bottles of 16500 liters of English liquor from him and a total fo 49 pouches of country liquor was seized from second accused identified as one Pushpa Dhwaj. Both the accused were arrested and booked under 34 (2) of Excise Act before sending to the jail.
