Vidarbha Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (VAPM), Nagpur has undertaken a humanitarian initiative for Nagpur Police. Under this initiative blood tests for COVID infected employees of Nagpur Police and their family members are being carried out at concessional rates at various pathology laboratories of the city. VAPM President Dr Prachi Sancheti along with senior members Dr Sanjay Deotale (President, IMA Nagpur) and Dr Sujata Moghe met Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Police and handed over a list of 32 Pathology laboratories from across the city, from where these benefits can be availed. DCP HQ Dr Sandip Pakhale was also present at the occasion.

 

All these laboratories are operated by VAPM members who are qualified and experienced Pathologists. Commissioner of Police welcomed the initiative. Dr Ankita Tamhane, Secretary VAPM thanked all the VAPM members who have voluntarily participated in this initiative.
