Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that corona infection should be strictly prevented by creating micro-containment zones in villages where there is infection. Committees should be formed in all villages and every patient should be identified and treated immediately after conducting house-to-house survey.

He said that implementation of Mukhya Mantri Covid Upchar Yojana should be started immediately in State and its benefits should also be given to already admitted patients. The implementation of this scheme will be reviewed daily. He said that continuous action should be taken against those who sell fake medicines, black-marketeers. Strict action should be taken against them under the Essential Commodities Act and National Security Act. They are enemies of humanity. Strictest action should also be taken against hospitals that charge excess fees and the extra amount charged should be returned. He was reviewing situation and arrangements of corona in State through video conferencing from his residence on Friday. In-charge ministers from all districts, officers in-charge of corona, collectors, superintendents of police, etc. were present in the video conferencing. Action has been taken under National Security Act against 20 persons for black-marketing of Remdesivir injection and against one person for black-marketing of oxygen. Similarly, action has been taken against 61 health institutions/individuals for charging more fees. An amount of 7.34 lakh rupees has been returned from them to the families of the patients. Out of these, licenses of two institutions have been revoked and FIRs have been registered against 22 persons. He said that a committee of experts should be formed to prepare for third wave of corona in State, which will study what is its potential in state and what preparations and arrangements should be made for it.
