A leagl awareness camp was organised for prisoners in Subhash Chandra Bose Central Jail Jabalpur recently. Under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge Jabalpur Naveen Kumar Saxena, the legal literacy camp was organised to spread awareness regarding filing of applications of parole or interim bail as per high power committee passed resolution dated 4.6.2021.

 

Prisoners in Central Jail were giving information regarding the resolutions, the prisoners detained in all the jails were made aware, as well as the details regarding parole and interim bail were explained by M Jeelani Legal Aid Officer, R P Mishra, Jailor. Panel Advocates Sheikh Manzoor, Rana Bhattacharya, and Amitabh Bharti shared the rights of prisoners in jail, the concept of plea bargaining and the provision of legal aid for prisoners in the said programme.
