With the nine-point demands, the ongoing week-long phase-wise protest of nurses entered it's second day on Thursday. They continued with their duties by tying black band as a mark of protest. As per their strategy planned under phase-wise protest, the nurses sought help from patients' relatives requesting them to give them written appeal addressed to the Chief Minister to fulfill their demands.

They asked the relatives to write down their demands on a postcard on their behalf. District President, Nursing Association, Madhya Pradesh 11720, Harsha Solanki informed that on the occasion of International Nursing Day, the Association on behalf of the nurses in six medical colleges of the State, submitted a 9-point memorandum addressing to the Chief Minister, to the Dean, NSCB Medical College Hospital and Divisional Commissioner. But the State Government is still not considered their demands, hence the nurses became compelled to stage protest. If the government not call them for a talk in between the protest week, they will initiate strike after June 14.”
